We have enjoyed a very relaxing week in Moose Harbour Cottage. It was a great base for us to explore Nova Scotia and we have got lots of good memiories and photos to take home with us. You have managed to make our first trip to Canada amazing and we are already planning when we might be able to come back.
Nestled in a beautiful location and only a short walk from Carter's beach (which looks almost tropical). Sea Star Cottage is perfect for honeymooners or a large family. Would definitely recommend it for a relaxing and refreshing vacation!
What a lovely place to spend our week here in Nova Scotia.! The view of the harbour is spectacular. We've enjoyed a glorious week of Indian Summer traveling along the lighthouse trail. A few favourite slights were Peggy's Cove and Mahone Bay and the Saturday morning Farmer's Market in Halifax. Enjoying a soak in the hot tub after driving all day was so relaxing. Great week!

DescriptionLouis Head Beach is one of our favourite beaches. It is a glorious golden crescent beach that stretches for over 2 miles. The sandy beach and protected cove make it an ideal launching area for kayaking.Home to the endangered Piping Plover, dogs should be leashed during the nesting and hatching season in late June and early July. LocationThe nearest cottages to this beach are:Sanderling Beach House - this cottage is right on the beach A Blue House - this cottage sits on an adjoining beach and is a two minute walk along the shore to Louis Head Beach Meadow Pines Cottage - about a 5 minute drive The Swim House - about a 10 minute drive Rockland Cottage - about a 10 minute drive Southwest Breakers - about a 10 minute drive Maple View House - about a 5 minute drive To get to the beach take Exit 23, HWY 103 continue along this road until you come to a fork in the road.
