Larger than a simple cottage, this fully renovated and updated 2,100 sq ft home has three bedrooms; two bathrooms, a large great room, fully equipped kitchen and living room. Finished in pine, the kitchen is fully furnished and well equipped with modern amenities, including a convection microwave oven, stove, refrigerator, coffeemaker and toaster. Serving as a dining room and family room, the great room has two large picture windows overlooking the gardens, beach and ocean. A semi formal living room provides a quiet escape from family living. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed and a walk-in closet. The second upstairs bedroom has a queen size bed, and the first floor bedroom has two twin beds. All have reading lamps and are comfortably appointed. There is a 3 piece bathroom with a shower on the first floor and a second 3 piece bathroom upstairs which has a claw-foot tub and pedestal sink. It's a short walk to your own beach at the end of the garden. An deal spot for anyone wanting peace and quiet in an oceanfront setting. From this beach you can walk around the head land and carry on walking to Louis Head Beach. LocationThe Blue House is located in the picturesque seaside community of Louis Head on a secluded white sandy beach. To get to the beach, it is a delightful one-minute walk along a grassy path that winds its way through a wildflower meadow. The sandy beach is over two miles long, making it an excellent location for many outdoor ventures, including swimming, beach combing and bird watching. The sandy beach and protected cove are also ideal for launching a kayak or canoe.For theatre, fine dining, museums, shops and other attractions, Shelburne is approximately 35 minutes away; while Lockeport with its beautiful Crescent Beach is a 15 minutes drive. Liverpool is about 45 minutes away and the Ferry from Yarmouth is a 1¼ hours away; Halifax is two hours, the UNESCO town of Lunenburg, Peggy’s Cove and Whale watching in Digby are all pleasant day trips.
