What a fabulous week we've had!!! Wonderful water - such a lovely spacious cozy home with a view to die for. We loved Shelburne and Lockeport too. Very quaint with lovely old houses and so quiet and unspoilt.
What a lovely place to spend our week here in Nova Scotia.! The view of the harbour is spectacular. We've enjoyed a glorious week of Indian Summer traveling along the lighthouse trail. A few favourite slights were Peggy's Cove and Mahone Bay and the Saturday morning Farmer's Market in Halifax. Enjoying a soak in the hot tub after driving all day was so relaxing. Great week!
We have stayed at this Sea Star Cottage on several occasions. It is a lovely and tranquil spot to get recharged and enjoy a vacation. It is very private and yet close to a beautiful beach! You will think you are in a paradise when you see the beach! The cottage is cozy and wonderfully decorated. We would highly recommend it to all ages!

Both bedrooms are located in the lower portion of the house. The large master bedroom has direct access to the ocean and a view of the water; a queen size bed and plenty of closet and storage space. The second bedroom has a set of bunk beds and a view of the property. There are two bathrooms: the main bathroom is a 3-piece bath with a shower and laundry facilities, while the second is a 3-piece powder room with a short bath, rustic barn board walls and a stunning piece of Tudor Tile art work. The upper living room has a beautiful view of the harbour. A well equipped kitchen with a living/dining room space is connected to the large raised deck that extends the living space outside.Simply furnished and decorated this house appeals to the sports and outdoor’s enthusiast: a person who is more interested in exploring the great outdoors than doing nothing in luxury. The “Privateering” town of Liverpool is about 40 minutes away while the ferry terminal in Yarmouth is just over an hour’s drive. Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, Digby and Halifax are all day trip distance. We also loved playing your board games after catching crabs in the baby. The crabs really enjoyed our leftover meat and created some entertainment for the kids while we did the dishes.
