The hot tub was most enjoyable as well as the outdoor fire pit. We did roast marshmallows - felt like we were at camp again.
Great cottage, sunny, quiet, tranquility. Quietest cottage we have ever stayed at. Went down Blanche Rd. to the end (about 10 min. from the cottage) and walked the beach and rocks at low tide. Saw a colony of seals barking on rocks. Don't miss Cape Forchu outside of Yarmouth, Outstanding. Compliments on keeping the natural setting
What a great spot. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend at Castaway Ocean Lodge. The hot tub is a nice touch. We hope to be back someime in the near future.
Our week at Rockland Cottage was a wonderful peaceful experience, with an abundance of wildlife, fabulous views. Deer wandering into the garden being a highlight for all.

Wake up to blue skies. The master suite upstairs features a sun lit bedroom, small office nook and a three piece bathroom.
This downstairs bedroom has a queen size bed, plenty of close space, and a single bed for extra sleeping capacity.

Abundant natural light streams in through the floor to ceiling living room windows. Whimsical pieces by local artists, decorate the walls while hand painted furniture add to the charm of this Nova Scotia cottage. Muted paint colours, warm pine trim and ceilings all add to the beach feel. Large enough to accommodate 6 comfortably, the main floor is comprised of a kitchen, living room, dining room, two bedrooms, a 4-piece bathroom and laundry facilities. Upstairs is the master bedroom and a 3-piece ensuite washroom. Overlooking the garden the kitchen is fully equipped with all that you would need for summer living. There is a queen size bed in the master bedroom; two twin beds in one of the down stairs bedrooms and a second queen size bed with a small day bed for extra sleeping accommodations in the third bedroom. A large wooden deck spans the length of the cottage and takes advantage of the truly spectacular view. A set of stairs lead down to the white sands below. So, sit back and breathe the sea air and soak in the views from the front deck of this stunning prow-front chalet. It’s a short hop over an ever changing fresh water river to the fine white sand of the secluded beach where it is possible to while away hours, beach combing, playing or just simply relaxing to the sounds of the sea. It is just 5 kilometers to the spectacular Kejimkujik Seaside Adjunct with its walking trails and abundance of wildlife. White Point Lodge with its CPGA rated golf course is approximately 15 minutes away. For museums, restaurants, shopping, live music and nightlife, Liverpool is about 20 minutes away. The historic town of Shelburne is only 30 minutes away. It’s a 2-hour drive to Halifax International Airport and 1.5 hours to Yarmouth. Amenities
